Delivering Engineering Solutions
Field Service and Workshop Engineering
Carrying repairs of machine tools and sub components on site and in our workshops.
For more than 40 years, our engineers have been rebuilding machine tools, with capability, reliability, design and modernisation. We have seen more than 120 machines pass through the workshops, some returning to their original owners and others on to new ownerships.
Refurbishment can be tailored towards a budget and prioritising appropriately.
Delivery specifications are ultimately in compliance with H&S regulations and P.U.W.E.R. New guarding is designed and fitted in areas where potentially there had been none. Interlocking switches and circuitry are implemented and vision panels replaced and modernised to meet current requirements.
At the request of the client we are able to retrofit the control and drive systems on the machine, particularly where it has been difficult to support older / obsolete systems. We are currently retrofitting the popular systems by
FANUC, SEIMENS, INDRAMAT, FAGOR, NUM.
Consideration to invest in the older machinery should never be under estimated. Compared to that on the new market, many of these machines are bigger, stronger and far more rigid and lend themselves nicely to some of popular materials being processed today.
Supporting a wide range of engineering businesses from single machine tool users through to fully automated cell installations, we are committed to deliver a maintenance solution which adds value to the machine tool and your business.
We have been delivering Planned Maintenance solutions for more than 40 years and are proud to have maintained some machines through 30 years service life. We are passionate about delivering and executing a well constructed and purposeful Planned Maintenance service that will optimise your machine capability and add value to your investment.
We have for many years been servicing a broad range of machine tools, both conventional and CNC, from single pieces to full FMS cell installations. Our engineers have a wealth of knowledge in the machine tool industry and their commitment to this specific type of servicing is resolute.

Cut and Pressure Knurling Systems
We stock knurling tools for both manual and CNC lathe systems. These tools allow you to form or cut knurl various patterns, both internally and externally,
. Most of our knurls are supplied in HC however some HSS are available.
We can also offer our knurls with a Tin-coated option.
All of our knurls are manufactured in Europe and North America.
We offer imperial and metric sizes and various pitches, in order to suit the customers requirements.
The wheels we supply are suitable for our "Knurltec" range of tools and others like "Quick" and "Zeus" (Contact us and allow us to cross reference your requirements)
We have the experience to assist in understanding your requirements and designing special tools and wheels for bespoke solutions.

Spinner
The "Spinner" Magnetic de burring and polishing machine is both innovative and compact in design.
In principle, magnetic fields are generated and are rotated rapidly, which in turn cause a "Stainless Steel Pin Media" to agitate and spin in a liquid solution which causes a polishing, cleaning, grinding/de burring effect on the work piece which is suspended in that solution.
Processing times are very short in comparison to traditional methods, typically 5 - 20mins per batch.
The Stainless Steel pins are available in various lengths and diameters, but their design and action allow them to process areas that traditional and unpractical methods can not.
Not only does the process remove small burrs, it lends itself to improved surface finish and cleanliness (I.e.. pre metal treatments), without effecting machined tolerances.

Integi
Our Broaching systems can be used on all types of conventional, Auto and CNC machinery.
The system, "Polyprofile", is a pendulous rotational system generating internal blind and through profiles and external profiles with both regular and irregular sections.
Our Burnishing system of tools and wheels have been designed to be used on various lathes and sliding head machines.
The system is will generate a polished surface, with reduced roughness and induce a degree of hardness to the work surface in a fast and efficient way.
The highly polished and hardened rolls are pressed against the rotating work surface and traverse, flattening surface undulations.
Machines can be set to carryout machining and eliminate the need to reset on a grinding machine, dramatically improving production times!
